Volunteer SouthCoast for Schools and Students
Volunteer SouthCoast is perfect for students looking to fulfill volunteer hours for Honor Society, school clubs, etc. VSC makes it easy to track student hours.
Learn how students can:
- Track hours: https://youtu.be/alLrXVUEEbQ?si=A8GvLvzYQWPJVrQc
- Download a volunteer resume: https://youtu.be/lGZTSpRReT4?si=40EQa6eN_P1V8Srj
Let us come to you to present to students to explain how they can utilize the site and the benefits of volunteering. We can also set up groups on the site to track your school's impact.
Youth Day of Caring
High schools are also encouraged to participate in our annual Youth Day of Caring. Each year, local schools volunteer to complete projects at non-profits in Greater New Bedford. These projects ranges from clean-ups to painting, to working with younger children. Encouraging volunteerism in our community’s youth is something United Way prides itself on. Youth Day of Caring is held each Spring.
