Street Sheet

The New Bedford Street Sheet identifies important resources available to you – such as where to get a meal, how to find a shelter and where to call for help that you need right now in New Bedford. United Way is proud to cover the cost of printing this valuable resource for people in need, which was created by the City of New Bedford’s Homeless Service Providers’ Network.

Mobile Market

United Way's Mobile Market aims to increase access to healthy food in targeted neighborhoods in New Bedford and Wareham. Operated as a FREE farmer’s market, residents are able to select the items and quantities right for their household. We aim to serve working residents in need of food that are unable to go to a food pantry due their work hours. All produce distributed is grown locally at Sharing the Harvest Community Farm, a program of YMCA Southcoast Dartmouth.

Family Resource Center

The Family Resource & Development Center (FRDC) is part of a growing network of 30 Family Resource Centers across the state of Massachusetts. The FRDC supports caregivers with children from birth to 18 with services and resources that promote self-sufficiency, strengthen family bonds, and tighten children’s connections with their community.
