Women's Financial Literacy

Investing in Women

Women United is committed to women's economic mobility, a key focus area of United Way of Greater New Bedford's impact agenda. Financial Futures, a comprehensive financial literacy program for women, provides 1:1 coaching, a women-centric curriculum, and a supportive group approach to learning and personal growth.

In partnership with Women's Money Matters, Financial Futures is a 12-week comprehensive program helping women transform their lives by learning core money management skills. Participants, paired with a volunteer coach, receive individualized support and encouragement through a team approach that addresses unique goals and challenges.

This investment in financial education for women is increasing economic self-sufficiency and leading to increased confidence and a commitment to personal financial goals and generational wealth.
