Nancy Pimentel

Nancy is 1st Vice President/ Indirect Lending Loan Officer for Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB).  In her role, she is responsible for the planning and organization of the Indirect Automobile Lending department at BCSB, as well as managing the underwriting and credit quality of all indirect auto loans.  Prior to that, Nancy served as VP and AVP/Indirect Lending Officer.  Before joining BCSB in 2004, Nancy held the position of Consumer Loan Officer for CompassBank in New Bedford.

With a banking career spanning nearly 30 years, Nancy began her involvement with United Way of Greater New Bedford’s Women United by serving as a coach for Financial Wellness for Women (FWFW).  In this role, Nancy was able to combine her experience in banking with her passion for financial literacy and empowering women.  Nancy served on the team developing the FWFW workshop curriculum and is actively engaged in recruitment and training of workshop presenters.

Nancy previously served as a Mentor for the LifeWork Project through the Women’s Fund of Southeastern Massachusetts and with Women’s Money Matters.  Nancy has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Southeastern Massachusetts University and is also a graduate of the certificate program at the Massachusetts Bankers Association for Financial Studies at Babson College.  She and her family are lifelong community residents.
