Sheelagh Beaulieu has served as the Executive Director of State and Local Tax with CVS Health in Woonsocket, RI for the past 15 years. In this role, Sheelagh oversaw State Income tax planning, compliance and controversy, premium tax and credits and incentives for the CVS and Aetna group of companies. Sheelagh recently stepped back from her leadership role at CVS to focus primarily on the company’s state controversy matters and enjoy more involvement in other business ventures with her husband Mark. Sheelagh is considered an expert in sales sourcing for service revenue and often speaks at State Tax conferences across the country. She also serves on several state tax-related advisory boards.
Prior to joining CVS in 2011, Sheelagh was in public accounting for 15 years. Sheelagh grew up in Dartmouth and attended Dartmouth public schools before settling in Fairhaven to raise her children. She is graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and Roger Williams School of Law. She became a CPA in Massachusetts in 2000 and was admitted to the Rhode Island bar in 2006.
An avid reader and beach enthusiast who loves to travel and entertain and enjoys New England sports. Sheelagh currently lives in Mattapoisett and the Boston Seaport with her husband and their 3 dogs and 3 cats and has 2 adult children Jonathan and Harriet, still holding out hope for grandchildren.
