Power of the Purse will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Tickets will go on sale February 13, 2026 at Noon.

General Access: $150 - In addition to an amazing ladies-night out, all ticket holders receive an E-Swag Bag with coupons and discounts to fabulous women-centric businesses!
VIP Access: SOLD OUT- Includes early access and exclusive VIP reception beginning at 6 PM, VIP Swag Bag, Brahmin raffle, expedited check-out, and more!

Power of the Purse, Women United's signature event, where fun and fashion meet philanthropy! Featuring fabulous fun, entertainment, and our exquisite online designer handbag auction with brands and styles you know and love.This event promises to be the ultimate gals night out! VIP ticket holders receive a SWAG bag full of surprises, VIP-only programming, and exclusive raffles. Power of the Purse was voted South Coast Almanac's Best Gala of the South Coast in 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025!

What is Women United?
Women United is a powerful and passionate network of women who influence positive change in our community through focused investment of time, talent, and resources.

Working together toward a common goal to ignite change and help families in Greater New Bedford, Women United efforts support early childhood success and literacy through programs, initiatives, collaborations and grant funds.
