Jill GirouxJill Giroux has been a dedicated volunteer with United Way of Greater New Bedford for many years, generously giving her time to support events and various initiatives. Over the past year, she’s deepened her commitment by volunteering in our office twice a week.

From preparing mailings and organizing materials to assisting with Family Resource & Development Center programs, Jill takes on every task with care. She’s also played a key role in our collection drives, delivering bins throughout the community, and helping us gear up for upcoming events. No matter the task, Jill is always ready to lend a hand — and always with a smile.

Outside of United Way, Jill recently competed in the 2025 Special Olympics Massachusetts Summer Games, where she took 1st place in her division for the 100-yard freestyle! Her dedication, perseverance, and positive energy shine through in everything she does — whether in the pool or in the office.

We’re incredibly grateful to have Jill as part of our team. Her passion for helping others is an inspiration, and we’re lucky to have her as part of the United Way family.
