We’re incredibly excited to share some wonderful news: United Way of Greater New Bedford has been named Best Nonprofit in the South Coast Almanac’s Best of the South Coast Awards!
And the celebration doesn’t stop there. Power of the Purse, our signature Women United event, was also named Best Gala for the fifth consecutive year.
These awards are an incredible honor, but more importantly, they are a reflection of the community that makes our work possible.
Every day, donors, volunteers, corporate partners, advocates, community organizations, and supporters come together with us to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our neighbors. Whether it’s helping a family access nutritious food, connecting someone to critical resources, supporting children and caregivers, creating pathways to financial stability, or providing opportunities for people to give back, your support helps make it happen.
