Financial Wellness starts by having a positive relationship with money. Many of us experience different emotions based on the abundance or scarcity of financial resources throughout our lives. Understanding the connection between emotions and actions is critical to taking control of our financial futures.
Once you identify your personal feelings, the best way to strengthen your financial life is by setting an attainable goal and sticking to it. Once that goal is engrained as a habit, you can add another and then another. Nothing needs to change overnight. It’s better for long-term success to make gradual adjustments to your lifestyle. One of my favorite apps to keep me on track is PocketGuard. At any time, I know exactly how much money I have available and get excited when I see my savings grow.
