Join a Financial Futures Cohort

Ready to increase your economic self-sufficiency and focus on your financial goals?

Financial Futures, a 12-week comprehensive program for women teaches core money-management skills through an interactive and hands-on curriculum. Participants are paired with a 1:1 volunteer coach offering individualized support and encouragement to address your unique goals and challenges.

Program Participants will: 

  • See results, like higher credit scores, decreased debts, and new/more savings. 
  • Connect to relief organizations and preferred loans.
  • Gain access to additional resources including Women's Money Matters financial-oriented programs. 
  • Meet other women and build a support community. 
  • Increase confidence and reduce financial anxiety. 

Program Details & Requirements: 

  • A series of 12 weekly workshops. See the upcoming cohort schedule here. 
  • Workshops run from 6:30 to approximately 8:00 pm (On-site childcare is available on workshop evenings). 
  • Participants are expected to attend each week and work with their volunteer coach on personal goals. 

Participant & Coach Partnership:

  • Matches are based on your application and introduction meeting with the program leader. 
  • Coach and participant attend workshops together each week. 
  • Coach and participant meet 1:1 between workshops to work on the participant's personal financial goals. 

What to Expect from the Workshops:

  • Participants are encouraged to share ideas and experiences for community-based learning.
  • Interactive exercises are conducted in both small groups and 1:1 breakouts. 
  • Presenters from financial institutions and backgrounds address questions from the group.
