United Way fights for the health, education, financial stability, and basic needs of every person. Integral to these efforts is our commitment to youth success.

The Youth Earn & Save Initiative combines work experiences for youth at area non-profit organizations, training programs for career readiness and financial literacy, and a savings incentive match. Youth ages 16-21 gain the abilities and training necessary to be successful in transitioning to adulthood and future careers.

The Youth Earn & Save Initiative provides grants to area non-profit organizations of up to $5,000. This funding is specifically for youth wages.

This is an invitation-only grant.

Applications open in CommunityForce February 12, 2020, and the deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 4th at noon.  Awards will be announced the week of March 23rd.
