Beth McDermott has served as Vice President for Development at Boston University since May of 2020. In that capacity, she works with regional and school and college-based fundraising teams, as well as foundation relations, to maximize philanthropic support for BU’s priorities. Prior to joining BU, Beth served as Managing Director of Development at Harvard Business School and Vice President for Development at Boston College. She has also held leadership roles at Middlebury College and its Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California.
Beth began spending time in Dartmouth in 2018 and fell in love with the SouthCoast community. She became a year-round resident in 2022 and is excited to become an active member and give back to her community.
