Webster Bank Sponsors Clambake at the Admiral Level

United Way of Greater New Bedford is pleased to announce that the 23rd Annual Clambake with Lobster, to be held on Friday, June 9th, has it’s first-ever Admiral Sponsor at $7,500 from Webster Bank. The Clambake is the main fundraising event hosted by United Way of Greater New Bedford. The event draws a crowd of nearly 700 to New Bedford’s Pier 3 for a casual night of great food, full cash bar, live music by WIRED for dancing, games and a large silent auction.

The United Way of Greater New Bedford has a deep understanding of the community’s needs and the solutions necessary to support individuals and families in the Greater New Bedford region.  The event itself also showcases the success the city has had in bringing the working waterfront, hospitality, and tourism industries together,” stated Don Troppoli, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Business Banking at Webster Bank.

Captain level sponsors at $5,000 for the Clambake are Brewster Ambulance and South Coast Towing. Chief Officer Sponsors at $2,500 include BayCoast Bank, My Tech Solutions and Sylvia Group. First Mate Sponsors thus far at $1,000 include: Acushnet Company, Bank Five, Boutique Fitness, Bristol County Savings Bank, CliftonLarsonAllen, Dome Publishing, First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union, Pidalia, RDA Insurance, RMS, Rockland Trust, South Coast Media Group and St. Anne’s Credit Union. Tickets for the event are $100 per person, $40 of which is tax deductible. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at unitedwayofgnb.org or by calling (508)994-9625 ext. 219. Proceeds from the event help United Way provide critical support to the entire community long after the tents are packed away.
