UPDATED 1/5/21: Greater New Bedford Food Pantries Open

    United Way of Greater New Bedford is aware that especially in these uncertain times, access to food and other basic needs is crucial for families. If you find yourself struggling to feed yourself and your family, here are some places in Greater New Bedford that you can go. Our Hunger Commission serves all of these locations.

    For families with school aged children, New Bedford Public Schools has set up Grab n’ Go meals sites for kids & teens 6:30-7:30am and 3-4:30 pm Monday through Friday. These sites Hayden-McFadden Elementary, Keith Middle, and Jacobs School.

    All Dartmouth families are eligible to receive 7-day meal boxes at from 10:00-11:30am on Tuesday, 1/5 at Dartmouth Middle School. Boxes must be preordered by Monday at 6:00pm. No ID or proof of Dartmouth Public Schools enrollment is required, but the child must be present.
